Isabel is a native of Melbourne Australia. The father of Isabel is Australian and her mother Swiss. Her family lived in Australia, Switzerland, Melbourne Jabiru (a small mining community within the Northern Territory), Cairns Australia and in Jabiru, Switzerland. With her sister Nina, she went to schools where First Nations and other children of different cultures were included. Isabel lives in the Byron Bay area of NSW Australia. Isabel has been involved in drama since the time she was in school. She was a Drama student at the the Queensland Institute of Technology and, more recently, the Perdekamp Emotional Method. In the years prior to 2002, she hadn't had an audition. She was cast for the role of Home and Away, 1988. Though they weren't sure she would be right for this part, the producers were so impressed that they created another role for Tasha. In the three-year period she worked as a television actress, Isabel won a Logie Award. Isabel was transferred between London and Los Angeles in 2008. In 2009, her breakthrough role was in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. In the years since, she has appeared in many US and Australian films and has won numerous prizes. Isabel was recently in Bosh & Rockit, a movie that's fast becoming an Australian classic. Also, she acted in the coming action thriller Lunacy. Isabel has also just finished Sons of Summer, and she's in the process of pre-production as Marie Curie for Radiant. The film will be directed by the award-winning Annika Glac.
